Tree crops are a multi-decade commitment to a piece of land. We intend to develop the estate in a way that keeps it productive, and its surroundings healthy, for the long term.
Land and soil
We intend to plant only on land that has been verified, surveyed and assessed for soil, drainage and topography, and to leave non-plantable areas such as watercourses and steep slopes undisturbed.

Community
An estate in Biase LGA is part of a community. We intend to engage openly with neighbouring communities, prioritise local employment where skills allow, and record any commitments made.

Environment
We intend to follow agronomist recommendations on input use, protect water sources, and comply with applicable environmental requirements. No environmental certification or permit is claimed on this website until it has been obtained and verified.

Governance
Sustainability includes financial sustainability. Tera Farms intends to keep proper accounts, maintain reserves, and report to stakeholders in a way that can be checked.
